I had articles in four different carnivals this week. Here they are:
- Best of Money Carnival – How Much House Do You Really Need?
- Carnival of Personal Finance – Raising a Cow for Beef: Month 2
- Festival of Frugality – Do It Yourself: Why Your Time Is Not Worth As Much As You Think
- Money Hacks Carnival – Should You Buy Life Insurance for a Stay-at-Home Mom (or Dad)?
The Art of Manliness had an interesting post about how to speed read like Theodore Roosevelt. I found the “1234″ technique especially helpful. Increasing your reading speed can help you learn a lot more in less time – provided that you still comprehend what you read. This definitely has applications in personal finance as learning more can help you advance your career. A faster reading speed could also come in handy for learning about personal finance. If you get bored of reading what I write, you can just fly right through it!
Have a great weekend!
