Weekend Reading – 10/16/09

I had articles in two different carnivals this week. Here they are:

J.D. at Get Rich Slowly highlighted Daniel Suelo, the Man without Money back in July. Mr. Suelo decided to stop using money in the autumn of 2000. He lives in a cave, forages for his food, and has some interesting ideas about money and what it means to us. If you end up reading Mr. Suelo’s website, please understand that I am not advocating his religious views in any way. But his ideas about the nature of money and the role it plays in our lives can trigger some interesting thoughts. And I’m not recommending we all give up using money either. His is an interesting story but not necessarily an example for all of us to follow. Have a great weekend!
