		<description>Hey, Trent!  Thanks for the comment.  This calculator figures that you&#039;ll keep your retirement savings invested in a reasonable portfolio once you retire.  Your retirement withdrawals will come from the interest and dividends the portfolio produces and also from the money you&#039;ve invested as well (the principal, if that helps you visualize it better).

I&#039;ve made this calculator pretty simple to make it easy to use.  If I had included some kind of printout that would show a simulation of how everything would (theoretically) happen, then you&#039;d see the portfolio continue to generate gains or losses throughout retirement while you&#039;re taking withdrawals.
