I had articles in three different carnivals this week. Here they are:
- Carnival of Personal Finance – Should a Christian Have an Emergency Fund?
- Festival of Frugality – 10 Ways to Clip Your Food Costs without Clipping Coupons
- Money Hacks Carnival – Should a Christian Retire?
If you’re looking for some interesting reading over the weekend, J.D. Roth at Get Rich Slowly had a great post back in February summarizing resources for people who are interested in self-sufficiency. I find this type of stuff fascinating, even though I doubt I’ll ever go as far as most of the people who write for those resources. But I do enjoy learning how to be self-sufficient because I think those skills are useful not just in themselves but in the sense of quiet confidence they can instill. You know – that “I know how to do that if I need to” kind of confidence. Hope you enjoy!
