		<description>Thanks for your comment, Donna!  I think we often neglect our values - we don&#039;t think much about what we value and why.  If we want to examine our life - the choices we make, how we spend our money, etc. - we must first examine our values.  Then we can weigh our decisions against those values.

This is what it means to deny ourselves and follow Christ.  We make the choice that we will strive to follow God&#039;s values even (especially) when they are not what we would choose.  Then we examine our lives and try to walk in a way that honors God&#039;s values - which in turn honors Him.  This is not to say we earn our salvation through this process.  We&#039;re just striving for the perfection which Jesus has already attained for us.</description>

		<description>Great post as usual.  Values are such an important part of our total life.  It is something that I tried to instill in our children and hopefully they will, in turn, do the same for their children.  :-)</description>
